VR Meditation App ‘Maloka’ to Launch on December 14

November 23, 2021 - Following a successful beta launch this fall, Galaxy Labs, Koffeecup, and HOO KOO E KOO, are excited to announce that VR app Maloka will be launching on December 14. Available on App Lab for Quest, with companion apps for iOS and Android, Maloka aims to introduce a new audience to the benefits of meditation through guided exercises set in a beautiful, evolving virtual world.

 

Celebrated wellness authors Sukey and Elizabeth Novogratz (Just Sit, The Well Daily) created Maloka using scientific research aimed to help users easily integrate meditation into their daily lives. Maloka expands the possibilities of wellness and VR through guided meditation sessions designed to put the mind at ease. Users are immersed in a virtual private island that they will watch flourish the more they practice. Add plants, sculptures, and discover new worlds as they are revealed in the form of portals, cosmic vistas, and serene landscapes. 

Each player will be joined by their chosen spirit who evolves with them throughout their journey to mindfulness. ​​But it’s not all play—as users engage in guided practices, Maloka’s unique sonic and visual elements join to encourage a meditative flow through the activation of Beta and Theta brain waves. Enter the Magic Grove portal to experience the soothing melodies of Gongs, Singing Bowls, Chimes, and Turning Forks or load up a Mindful Movement experience for a yoga-inspired session.
